This skirt features a relaxed, flowing silhouette built from a half-circle skirt that is softly gathered into an elasticated pull-on waistband. The design combines comfortable everyday wear with graceful movement and an elegant drape.
The waistband is fully elasticated and enclosed, allowing the skirt to slip on easily without any fastening. Gentle gathers around the waist create soft volume while keeping the waistline comfortable and flexible.
The main skirt body is cut in a half-circle shape, providing a flattering A-line silhouette that naturally widens toward the hem. This construction gives the skirt a fluid swing and graceful movement while remaining easy to sew.

As always, it's impossible to provide fabric quantities for every fabric type and size. For clarity, I provide yardage for both the smallest and largest sizes, based on a suitable fabric width. To be safe, you may use the largest cutting layout for any other size.
If you’d prefer an exact amount of material for your size and specific fabric width, I’m happy to create a custom cutting layout for you — just note that I provide this after purchase, as it requires hands-on pattern work.

To find out the AMOUNT for a particular FABRIC in your size, you might like taking your pattern to the fabric shop – their assistants are always happy to help.

Otherwise, do it yourself:

  • stretch a flat bed-sheet on a table or floor;
  • fold it to the width of the material you plan to use;
  • arrange ALL pattern pieces paying attention to the grainline desired-directions and seam allowances;
  • measure the length you have got.
