Craft comfortable, flattering maternity trousers designed specifically for mums-to-be.
This pattern features a straight-leg silhouette paired with a soft, stretchy jersey front yoke that supports a growing belly without pressure. The main body of the trousers can be sewn in woven or knit fabric, allowing you to create anything from smart officewear to relaxed everyday pants.

To find your best size, simply refer to the MC2 Body Measurements Chart (see picture).

* MAIN FABRIC: Mid-weight woven or jersey/knit
* FRONT YOKE: Mid-weight stretchy jersey/knit (essential)

Fabric estimates:
* Size S:
  ** Main: 140 × 115 cm (56" × 46")
  ** Yoke (jersey): 50 × 50 cm (20" × 20")
* Size L:
  ** Main: 150 × 115 cm (60" × 46")
  ** Yoke (jersey): 65 × 55 cm (26" × 22")

As always, it's impossible to give fabric amounts for every fabric type and every size. For clarity, I provide yardage for both the smallest and largest sizes, based on a suitable fabric width. To stay on the safe side, you may follow the largest cutting layout for any other size.

  • arrange ALL pattern pieces paying attention to the grainline desired-directions and seam allowances;
  • measure the length you have got.
