A modern, easy-wearing pair of cropped dungarees designed with a relaxed silhouette and clean, minimal styling. The shape is loose through the body and legs, creating a comfortable, casual fit with a soft cocoon-like “banana-leg” line that tapers gently toward the hem.
The upper part features a simple rectangular bib at the front and back, shaped with softly curved side openings for ease and comfort. Wide shoulder straps pass through buttonholes at the top edge and tie into bold knots, allowing the length to be adjusted while adding a distinctive design detail.
The front includes optional horizontal in-seam pockets set into the seam below the bib, keeping the look streamlined while adding everyday practicality. Cropped leg length gives the style a light, contemporary feel and makes it especially suitable for layering over tops of different sleeve lengths.
Overall, the design combines comfort, simplicity, and subtle character — an unfussy wardrobe piece that works beautifully in linen, cotton, denim, and other medium-weight woven fabrics.

SUITABLE MATERIALS
Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics such as linen, linen blends, cotton, chambray, poplin, soft twill, or lightweight denim. Choose softer fabrics for a more fluid look, or slightly firmer fabrics for a more structured shape. Not suitable for stretch knits.
* XS: 150 × 170 cm / 60" × 68"
* 2XL: 110 × 310 cm / 44" × 124"

It's impossible to give fabric amounts for every fabric type and every size. For clarity, I provide yardage for both the smallest and largest sizes, based on a suitable fabric width. To stay on the safe side, you may follow the largest cutting layout for any other size.

To find out the AMOUNT for a particular FABRIC in your size, you might like taking your pattern to the fabric shop – their assistants are always happy to help.

Otherwise, do it yourself:

  • stretch a flat bed-sheet on a table or floor;
  • fold it to the width of the material you plan to use;
  • arrange ALL pattern pieces paying attention to the grainline desired-directions and seam allowances;
  • measure the length you have got.
