Suitable Materials:
Choose soft to medium-weight fabrics with good drape so the Bodice sits smoothly and the Palazzo Pants fall in long, elegant lines. This design works well in both woven and knit fabrics. Avoid very stiff fabrics, as they may make the neckline and wide legs look bulky rather than graceful.
* UK 8: 150 × 155 cm / 60" × 62"
* UK 16: 150 × 195 cm / 60" × 78"

It's impossible to give fabric amounts for every fabric type and every size. For clarity, I provide yardage for both the smallest and largest sizes, based on a suitable fabric width. To stay on the safe side, you may follow the largest cutting layout for any other size.

To find out the AMOUNT for a particular FABRIC in your size, you might like taking your pattern to the fabric shop – their assistants are always happy to help.

Otherwise, do it yourself:

  • stretch a flat bed-sheet on a table or floor;
  • fold it to the width of the material you plan to use;
  • arrange ALL pattern pieces paying attention to the grainline desired-directions and seam allowances;
  • measure the length you have got.
