The design works particularly well in soft jersey fabrics, where the drape of sleeves and body creates that effortless batwing effect. Depending on fabric choice, you can make it look casual, elegant, or dressy.

SUITABLE MATERIALS
Light to medium-weight knit/jersey fabrics. The best result comes from fabrics with a soft drape and good stretch.
* Size S: 140 × 135 cm (56" × 54")
* Size 3XL: 125 × 165 cm (50" × 66")

It's impossible to give fabric amounts for every fabric type and every size. For clarity, I provide yardage for both the smallest and largest sizes, based on a suitable fabric width. To stay on the safe side, you may follow the largest cutting layout for any other size.

To find out the AMOUNT for a particular FABRIC in your size, you might like taking your pattern to the fabric shop – their assistants are always happy to help.

Otherwise, do it yourself:

  • stretch a flat bed-sheet on a table or floor;
  • fold it to the width of the material you plan to use;
  • arrange ALL pattern pieces paying attention to the grainline desired-directions and seam allowances;
  • measure the length you have got.
