These pants are designed with a very loose, draped fit and a low crotch. The shape is intentionally roomy through the hips and upper legs, with the volume controlled at the ankle cuffs.
The side drapes are not ordinary flat pockets — they form soft fabric folds at sides, creating both comfort and a stylish sculptural effect. For the best result, use fabric with good drape so the pockets fall softly rather than standing out stiffly.

SUITABLE MATERIALS
Best made in soft, drapey fabrics with light to medium weight.
* Size S: 130 × 165 cm (52" × 66")
* Size 2XL: 150 × 165 cm (60" × 66")

It's impossible to give fabric amounts for every fabric type and every size. For clarity, I provide yardage for both the smallest and largest sizes, based on a suitable fabric width. To stay on the safe side, you may follow the largest cutting layout for any other size.

To find out the AMOUNT for a particular FABRIC in your size, you might like taking your pattern to the fabric shop – their assistants are always happy to help.

Otherwise, do it yourself:

  • stretch a flat bed-sheet on a table or floor;
  • fold it to the width of the material you plan to use;
  • arrange ALL pattern pieces paying attention to the grainline desired-directions and seam allowances;
  • measure the length you have got.
