Best suited for lightweight woven fabrics — both layers can be the same or creatively combined in different densities and colours.

Fabric Quantities (based on comfortable fabric width):
* UK6:
** Layer 1: 110 × 170 cm (44" × 68")
** Layer 2: 90 × 130 cm (36" × 52")
* UK20:
** Layer 1: 110 × 215 cm (44" × 86")
** Layer 2: 100 × 160 cm (40" × 64")

📝 As you can imagine, it’s impossible to provide accurate fabric requirements for every size, fabric type, and fabric width. To keep things clear, I provide fabric amounts for the smallest and largest sizes in the range using a well-fitting fabric width. For all other sizes, you can safely follow the largest layout unless you are working with very narrow fabric.

To find out the AMOUNT for a particular FABRIC in your size, you might like taking your pattern to the fabric shop – their assistants are always happy to help.

Otherwise, do it yourself:

  • stretch a flat bed-sheet on a table or floor;
  • fold it to the width of the material you plan to use;
  • arrange ALL pattern pieces paying attention to the grainline desired-directions and seam allowances;
  • measure the length you have got.
