SUITABLE MATERIALS
Light to mid-weight woven fabrics work best for this apron. Choose materials that are easy to sew, comfortable to wear, and durable enough for everyday use.
Recommended fabrics: cotton, cotton blends, linen, linen blends, chambray, lightweight canvas, drill, poplin, homespun, or other stable woven fabrics.
For a softer, more flowing look, choose linen or lightweight cottons.
For a more structured and hard-wearing apron, try medium-weight cotton, canvas, or drill.
!!! Avoid very stretchy knits, very heavy, bulky fabrics, or very slippery materials, as they can make sewing and wearing less comfortable.

It's impossible to give fabric amounts for every fabric type and every size. For clarity, I provide yardage for both the smallest and largest sizes, based on a suitable fabric width. To stay on the safe side, you may follow the largest cutting layout for any other size.
