Digital PDF Sewing Pattern (no paper sent): Raglan Bomber Jacket with In-Seam Pockets / NOT LINED
Pattern code: mc2-5009
This jacket is designed with a relaxed, easy bomber fit — not tight, but not oversized.
The raglan sleeves give extra comfort around the shoulders and upper arms, making the jacket suitable for layering over T-shirts, tops, lightweight sweaters, or casual dresses.
The ribbed hem band gently pulls the jacket in at the bottom, creating the classic bomber shape. For a looser or more fitted look, you can adjust the ribbing length slightly depending on the stretch and recovery of your rib fabric.
SKILL LEVEL: CHALLENGE — suitable for intermediate sewists comfortable with sewing zippers, applying ribbing, and achieving precise seam alignment.
SIZE RANGE: S–M–L–XL–2XL
Refer to the MC2 Body Measurements Chart (see photo) to choose your correct size.
SUITABLE MATERIALS
Best made in light to medium-weight jacket fabrics with enough body to hold the bomber shape. For the neckline, cuffs, and hem band, use ribbing fabric with good stretch and recovery.

It's impossible to give fabric amounts for every fabric type and every size. For clarity, I provide yardage for both the smallest and largest sizes, based on a suitable fabric width. To stay on the safe side, you may follow the largest cutting layout for any other size.
To find out the AMOUNT for a particular FABRIC in your size, you might like taking your pattern to the fabric shop – their assistants are always happy to help.
Otherwise, do it yourself:
- stretch a flat bed-sheet on a table or floor;
- fold it to the width of the material you plan to use;
- arrange ALL pattern pieces paying attention to the grainline desired-directions and seam allowances;
- measure the length you have got.
